Co-Founder & Director’s Message:

Each year, the world produces over 400mn tonnes of plastic, with nearly half of it designed for single-use purposes. Of that, less than 10% is recycled.
Led by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and held annually on June 5 since 1973, World Environment Day this year is calling for  global solutions to combat plastic menace with a campaign #BeatPlasticPollution.
For the occasion, experts and citizens are getting united in their call to reduce plastic usage in our daily lives.
Environment Authority (EA) of Oman, emphasised the need for expediting the process for transition to a circular economy.
Hence, ATPRO is also actively involved in a movement to ensure clean and green energy, better carbon management, and efforts to reduce the risk of climate change and global warming, so as to achieve the net-zero emissions by 2050.
We believe that recycling brings more benefits than just a waste management strategy. It’s a crucial component of the circular economy that ensures a sustainable use of resources. By integrating recycling into our daily lives and business operations, we can significantly contribute to global efforts to reduce carbon footprints, playing a vital role in climate change mitigation.
